Key Vote Letter: Senate CRA on State-Based Retirement Accounts (H.J. Res. 66 and H.J. Res. 67)

Date: March 21, 2017

Issue: Retirement

To: Senate

Filing Type: Key Vote Letter

Description: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce strongly supports H.J. Res. 66 and H.J. Res. 67, resolutions of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act to invalidate the Department of Labor’s “safe harbor” regulations on Savings Arrangements Established by State and Political Subdivisions for Non-Governmental Employees. These resolutions of disapproval are identical to S.J. Res. 32 and S.J. Res 33, respectively. The Chamber urges you to support H.J. Res. 66 and H.J. Res. 67 and will consider including votes on, or in relation to, this legislation in our annual How They Voted scorecard.
