Description: We would thus like to share some perspectives with you in the framework of the European Commission call for evidence on the EU regulatory framework for financial services (the “Call for Evidence”). We believe that this exercise is extremely important to properly understand the interaction of the many rules, and their individual and cumulative impact. Going forward, a comprehensive, holistic view of EU financial services regulation should be adopted, with a particular focus on the key CMU objectives and Europe’s global competitiveness.
