Description: The Chamber is requesting an extension of the comment period on the ESBA Fiduciary Rule (currently 30 days) to 120 days to allow the collection and analaysis of empirical data, requests that OIRA exercise its authority to direct the Department to reopen its analysis of the compliance burden issues to conduct the empirical research, and requests a meeting with the OIRA desk officer for ESBA and other relvant OIRA staff to discuss in detail the concerns regarding omissions and inaccuracies in the ESBA supporting statements for the six information collection requests assosciated with the proposed Fiduciary rulemaking.
