Description: The Chamber sent a letter to members of the U.S. House of Representatives in support of H.R. 1062 the “SEC Regulatory Accountability Act”, which would institute innovative measures to improve the cost-benefit analysis and rulemaking by the SEC.  The letter also outlines support for an amendment offered by Representative Hurt that would expand the bill’s coverage to rulemakings by subordinate entities such as the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board.
