Description:  Letter supporting the House of Representatives passed legislation that would require the SEC to finish a rulemaking on fiduciary standards for broker dealers before the Department of Labor (“DOL”) finalizes its rule redefining a fiduciary under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.  The Chamber sent a letter supporting this legislation, the Retail Investor Protection Act, and opposing the Miller-Conyers Amendment.
