Description: CCMC sent a comment letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission on its staff report regarding money market mutual fund reform on November 30, 2013 entitled “Response to Questions Posed by Commissioners Aguilar, Paredes, and Gallagher”. While we comment the staff for taking the necessary step in examining the impact of the 2010 reforms before moving forward with additional changes to MMMF regulation, a comprehensive review is still necessary to well-informed rulemaking. Accordingly, the Chamber encourages the SEC to seek out and consider additional information and analysis before proceeding with a rulemaking. This letter provides our analysis of the Report, identifying shortcomings and factors for consideration.
