2014 Proxy Season: What Lies Ahead?

The U.S. Chamber’s Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness (CCMC) has long-advocated for policies that promote effective shareholder participation in the corporate governance process.  A keystone to this process is proxy elections, and over the past decade important and positive strides have been made to improve communication between boards, management, and investors.

With the 2013 proxy season behind us, we are turning our attention to 2014.  This half day event aims to examine the trends that will impact corporations as they plan for next year’s proxy season.

Attendees will hear from issue experts and thought leaders from the corporate community, members of the proxy plumbing industry, and others who will provide views on what to expect in the 2014 proxy season and the outlook for corporate governance at large.

Registration and continental breakfast will open at 8:00 a.m., followed by the program from 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Registration fees are $20 for Chamber Members; and $35 for non-members. Federal Government employees receive complimentary registration*
