Description: Too often, the SEC has failed to keep its rules current, forcing Congress to step in. Accordingly, the Chamber has been supportive of congressional efforts in these areas, including the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (“JOBS Act”). The Chamber further supports H.R. 3784, the “SEC Small Business Advocate Act of 2015,” and H.R. 4168, the “Small Business Capital Formation Enhancement Act,” which would bolster small business capital formation.
